With a tradition spanning over 35 years, Motonautika – Luke d.o.o. is one of the longest-standing authorized Volvo Penta service centers on the Adriatic.
The company’s founder and owner, Davor Markov, is a passionate enthusiast of engines and marine mechanics who officially turned his passion into a business back in 1991. In addition to a loyal client base, he takes great pride in his former employees – many of whom, having learned the craft under his mentorship, are now skilled mechanics and successful entrepreneurs themselves.
From the very beginning, the company has been fully dedicated to the Volvo Penta program, recognizing the brand’s technological superiority and unmatched reliability. Today, as an authorized service provider, Motonautika – Luke offers complete support for the maintenance, servicing, diagnostics, and repowering of Volvo Penta diesel and gasoline engines and drives – using only genuine parts.
Our team consists of experienced professionals who, through continuous training and specialization, stay up to date with the latest trends in marine technology and diagnostics.
The company operates with advanced diagnostic equipment – including ultrasonic and endoscopic tools – and a wide range of specialized instruments. We also offer our own innovative solutions developed through decades of field experience.
We cover a wide operational area around Murter Island, equipped with two service vehicles and a fast response boat for urgent interventions, a private dock for vessels up to 15 meters, and a hoist for boats up to 8 meters.
Our philosophy is simple: professionalism, precision, and reliability – with a firm commitment to agreed deadlines and fair pricing. That’s why so many of our clients stay with us for years.
Murter is the largest and most populated island in the Šibenik archipelago, separated from the mainland by a narrow channel spanned by a 12-meter drawbridge in the town of Tisno. This beautiful island has four settlements – Murter, Betina, Jezera, and Tisno – and has been inhabited for nearly two thousand years.
With its rich traditions, deep connection to the sea, and a lifestyle centered around boating, Murter is defined by a unique maritime culture that continues to shape its identity today.
One of the most indented island groups in the entire Mediterranean, the Kornati consists of nearly 150 islands and islets. The outer, Piškera chain, together with the central Kornati group, was declared a national park in 1980. Aside from the two largest islands, Kornat and Žut, most Kornati islands are quite small. Kornati itself stretches across several ridges, with olive groves and open fields in between. Known not only for their fragmented geography, the Kornati are famous for their dramatic cliffs facing the open sea – a striking natural phenomenon known locally as “crowns.” Another defining feature is their stark landscape, a result of centuries of controlled burning to regenerate pastureland. Once home to some of the richest fishing grounds in the Adriatic, the Kornati are now a favorite destination for boaters and adventurers. With countless coves, capes, underwater walls, and reefs, the archipelago remains a magnet for divers and sea lovers seeking untouched natural beauty.
